If you’re still using my “Insert and Delete Cells” Add-on for Google Sheets, you’re now seeing: “401. That’s an error”, “Error: deleted_client”, and “The OAuth client was deleted”.
I shut down the “Insert and Delete Cells” Google Sheets Add-on yesterday because the functionality has been built into Google Sheets for a few years now.
You will find the Delete functions in the Edit menu and the Insert functions in the Insert menu.
Sorry for the abrupt shut-down of the Add-on. I was trying to figure out a graceful way to remove the Add-on from the store, and instead made an irrevocable shut down choice.
I’m glad the Add-on was useful to people while it lasted!
I was not using your plugin but had researched your work accessing the Google Sheets from PHP. I appreciate the insights you gave me.
Eventually I found an easier route to accomplish what I wanted to do and it was with Google Apps script attached to the sheet. It’s like node.js – pretty slick having the server side hosted by google’s servers.
I agree – Google Apps script is very cool!
This was a truly awesome add on…and I’m glad that google has included this functionality now.

If possible, I’d suggest editing the description of your add-on to mention that you’ve shut it down and also give instructions on where to find the same functionality.
Thanks for your work on this add on, it was probably the most useful add on that I’ve used :-).
Thanks for the suggestion Thomas. I haven’t been able to figure out how to get to the description anymore, but I’ll try looking some more.
